Turkish clubs gear up for 2026‑27 season with transfers and training camps
Several Turkish Süper Lig clubs announced new signings and commenced preseason training ahead of the 2026‑27 campaign.
Fatih Karagümrük confirmed the acquisition of Greek midfielder Manolis Siopis, who previously played for Alanyaspor and Trabzonspor and won one Süper Lig and one Turkish Cup, and also signed defender Muhammed Emin Sarıkaya from 1461 Trabzon.
Kayserispor completed the first stage of its high‑altitude camp at Erciyes, winning a friendly 1‑0 against Iran’s U‑23 side, and moved on to a second stage at its own facilities. Gençlerbirliği began the third stage of its preparations at the Düzce Topuk Yaylası camp, scheduled to run until 6 August.
Konyaspor supporters have called for three to four “point” signings before the league starts, urging the club to strengthen the squad.
Göztepe wrapped up an 18‑day Slovenian camp without defeat, recording four wins and one draw, scoring nine goals while conceding three, and introduced four new players – Sinclair Armstrong, Andre Henrique, Alex Matos and Sonko Sundberg.
Kocaelispor’s camp in Düzce was marked by injuries to Mahamadou Susoho, limited participation of several players and the departure of Habib Keita, Joseph Nonge and Darko Churlinov.
Keçiörengücü announced the signing of forward Moryke Fofana as part of its preseason roster building.
