German alternative rock and rap-metal band H-Blockx is scheduled to perform in Riga at the Palladium concert hall on March 10. This marks a return to the city for the group, who previously performed at the Skonto Stadium in 2001.
Formed in Münster in the early 1990s, the band gained significant international recognition following the 1994 release of their debut album, ‘Time to Move’. The album spent 62 weeks on the German charts and sold over 750,000 copies worldwide. The group also received an MTV Europe Music Award nomination for ‘Best New Group’ in 1995.
After a 14-year hiatus, the band recently released a new album titled ‘FILLIN_THE_BLANK’, which reached third place on the German album charts. The upcoming concert will feature hits such as ‘Risin’ High’, ‘Move’, and ‘Little Girl’.
