H. Moser & Cie. unveils $440,000 Endeavour Minute Repeater watch with visible chiming

Swiss watchmaker H. Moser & Cie. has launched the Endeavour Minute Repeater Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Cosmic Rain, a limited edition of only 20 pieces priced at $440,000 each. The watch re‑engineers the traditional minute repeater by moving the hammers and gongs to the dial side, allowing the wearer to see the mechanism strike as it chimes the hours, quarters and minutes.

The timepiece features a hand‑wound HMC 909 calibre with 415 components, a 90‑hour power reserve and a one‑minute flying tourbillon at the 6 o’clock position, fitted with a cylindrical hairspring borrowed from 18th‑century marine chronometers. A dome‑shaped aventurine sub‑dial at 2 o’clock, called "Cosmic Rain", is inlaid with mother‑of‑pearl to create a star‑field effect. The case is 40 mm titanium, 14.4 mm thick, paired with a grey alligator strap.
