H. Moser launches $440,000 limited‑edition Cosmic Rain watch

Swiss luxury watchmaker H. Moser & Cie. unveiled the Endeavour Minute Repeater Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton “Cosmic Rain”. The piece is limited to 20 examples and priced at US$440,000.

The 40 mm titanium case houses a hand‑decorated 415‑component movement (HMC 909) that includes a minute repeater audible on the dial side and a one‑minute flying tourbillon with a rare cylindrical hairspring. A transparent skeletoned architecture reveals the mechanism, while an aventurine sub‑dial at the 2 o’clock position, set with mother‑of‑pearl intarsia, creates a star‑like visual effect.

The watch also features sapphire crystal on both front and back, a Teflon‑lubricated repeater slider, and a gray nubuck alligator strap. Availability is by reservation only, with a 90‑hour power reserve and a frequency of 21 600 half‑oscillations per hour.
