Hà Thị Nga conducts supervisory visits in Lai Chau and Lao Cai

Hà Thị Nga, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, conducted working visits and supervisory activities in the northern provinces of Lai Chau and Lao Cai.

In Lai Chau, Nga visited the Sin Suoi Ho highland commune to meet with and encourage local Front Working Committee heads. She emphasized the need for these officials to innovate their methods, remain close to the people, and enhance their skills in mass mobilization, dialogue, and mediation. During the visit, she presented gifts to local officials and visited the Sin Suoi Ho community tourism village and the local border guard station.

In Lao Cai, Nga led a supervisory delegation to work with the provincial People's Committee regarding the implementation of grassroots democracy. The session focused on the responsibilities of leaders in accordance with Regulation No. 124-QD/TW. Local authorities reported that following administrative restructuring, they have improved transparency and linked democratic practices with administrative reform and digital transformation. Between July 2023 and June 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at various levels organized 790 meetings with over 62,500 voters, receiving more than 10,000 opinions and petitions.
