Hà Tĩnh officials implement grassroots outreach to resolve local complaints

In Hà Tĩnh Province, local officials are implementing new administrative strategies to manage expanded jurisdictions following organizational restructuring. In Hà Linh commune, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council, Trần Tuấn Nghĩa, has focused on addressing long-standing complaints and unresolved issues.

To bridge the gap between the government and citizens, the commune has introduced the “No Appointment Saturday” model for the administration and the “Weekend Working Group to the Grassroots” model for the Party. These initiatives involve leaders and professional staff traveling directly to villages and households to listen to residents and resolve complex, long-term cases on-site rather than requiring citizens to visit government offices.
