Ha Do Group fined over 3 billion VND for tax violations

Ha Do Group (HDG) has been ordered to pay more than 3 billion VND in taxes, penalties, and late fees following an administrative decision by the Hanoi Tax Department.

The violations include improper Value Added Tax (VAT) declarations for ineligible invoices and the accounting of unreasonable or invalid expenses for corporate income tax. Additionally, the company was found to have under-declared revenue and issued two invoices at the incorrect time.

The total amount includes over 469.5 million VND in fines for incorrect declarations leading to tax shortfalls, 6.5 million VND for incorrect VAT indicators, and 3.5 million VND for improper invoicing timing. The company is also required to pay approximately 2.3 billion VND in unpaid taxes and nearly 253.1 million VND in late payment interest.
