Ha Giang ranked among the world's top 10 most beautiful locations

Ha Giang has been ranked 10th in Time Out magazine’s 2025 list of the 44 most beautiful places in the world. It also secured the 3rd position on the magazine’s list of the most beautiful locations in Asia.

Time Out highlighted the region’s dramatic mountain roads, including the Thâm Mã slope and the Mã Pí Lèng pass overlooking the Nho Quến River. The area is characterized by continuous mountain ranges and terraced rice fields. Additionally, the Suôi Thầu steppe, covering over 90 hectares at an altitude of approximately 1,200 meters, has been described as a “miniature Switzerland.”

Other Vietnamese locations appeared in the global rankings, with Hội An placed at 44th. Ha Giang has previously received international recognition, including being named one of The New York Times’ “52 Places to Go in 2023” and receiving awards from the World Travel Awards for its emerging and cultural tourism appeal.
