Ha Ji-won and Ryu Seung-ryong discuss film ‘Bi-gwang’

Actors Ha Ji-won and Ryu Seung-ryong have shared insights regarding their collaboration on the upcoming film ‘Bi-gwang’, scheduled for release on September 2. The film, directed by Lee Ji-won, follows a former superstar couple, Jung-gu and Nam-mi, who face a crisis eight years after their separation when their daughter becomes involved in a shocking incident.

In recent interviews, Ryu Seung-ryong praised Ha Ji-won’s professionalism and her ability to fully commit to her role, noting that she appeared to have set aside her desire to look traditionally beautiful for the sake of the performance. He also highlighted her disciplined lifestyle and positive attitude on set.

Ha Ji-won discussed her recent experience participating in a YouTube series titled ‘26th Class Ji-won’, where she simulated university life. She expressed gratitude to the students who embraced her as a freshman and noted that the project allowed her to reconnect with the sense of romance and exploration she missed during her actual 20s, a period she spent primarily focused on auditions.
