Vietnam's Hoà Phát delivers over 4,000 containers to global partners in Q2 2026

In the second quarter of 2026, Hoà Phát handed over more than 4,000 container shells to a mix of domestic and international clients. International ship owners and leasing firms such as Hapag‑Lloyd, CMA CGM, SeaCube, Touax, Textainer, OSG, DCM, M/S Containers and Hutchinson Equipment Services received shipments. Within Vietnam, major transport and port operators including Hải An, VIMC Lines, Tân Cảng Sài Gòn, Vinafco, Vsico and Vietsun were supplied.

All containers meet ISO standards (20DC, 20HC, 40HC) and include specialised types like Open‑Top, Open‑Side and office containers. Hoà Phát also produces container shells for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for customers in the United States, Australia, Europe and Vietnam. The company sources 90 % of its raw steel (SPA‑H grade) locally, locates its plant near the deep‑water Cái Mép‑Thị Vải port for logistical efficiency, and runs a highly automated production line where more than 90 % of operations are performed by robots using MIG/TIG welding technology.
