Ha Tinh authorities address fraud, land data, and citizen rights

Authorities in Ha Tinh province are addressing several administrative and security issues. Police have warned citizens against fraudulent schemes involving fake political asylum documents. Investigations revealed a ring linked to the Viet Tan organization and the “Democratic Brothers” group, led by Nguyen Van Dai, which allegedly tricked Vietnamese citizens in the UK into paying large sums to create fraudulent evidence for asylum claims.

In local administration, Ha Tinh is conducting a large-scale campaign to digitize land management data. In Duc Thinh commune, local authorities and community teams are working to map and record over 52,000 land plots to complete the national land database. This effort relies on community cooperation to verify land use certificates and identity documents.

Additionally, provincial authorities are focusing on resolving long-standing citizen complaints regarding land use rights. Through direct dialogue and coordination between specialized departments and local communes, officials have successfully assisted citizens in rectifying discrepancies in land area measurements and securing overdue land use certificates.
