Ha Tinh celebrates 195 years of history and academic tradition

Ha Tinh province celebrates 195 years of its administrative identity, a history dating back to the administrative reforms of Emperor Minh Menh in 1831. The region is recognized for its deep cultural and revolutionary traditions, having produced numerous historical figures, cultural icons such as the poet Nguyen Du, and prominent revolutionary leaders including General Secretary Tran Phu and General Secretary Ha Huy Tap.

Reflecting the province's long-standing tradition of academic excellence, Nguyen The Dang, a student from a working-class family, achieved a perfect score of 30/30 in the 2026 university entrance exams. His admission to Hanoi Medical University serves as a modern example of the region's commitment to education. According to the Ha Tinh Study Encouragement Association, hundreds of students from disadvantaged backgrounds in the province achieved high scores in recent examinations, with over 200 students from difficult circumstances scoring 25 points or higher.
