Ha Tinh province implements economic and maritime initiatives

Ha Tinh province is implementing various economic and environmental initiatives. To combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, authorities have intensified the monitoring of fishing vessels and seafood volumes through ports, alongside efforts to restore aquatic resources by releasing 9,000 artificial reefs.

Economically, the province reported an export turnover of $1.42 billion for the first nine months of 2026, reaching 64.5% of its annual target. Efforts are also underway to connect regional suppliers with exporters to expand distribution networks. In the agricultural sector, new models such as organic farming projects and black snail cultivation are being promoted to increase rural incomes.

Additionally, the province is focusing on urban management in the Vung Ang Economic Zone and developing eco-tourism potential in areas like Dong Loc commune.
