Ha Tinh requests 177 billion VND for 2027 transport maintenance

Ha Tinh Province has requested an additional 177 billion VND from the central budget to support the management and maintenance of its transportation infrastructure in 2027.

According to the Ha Tinh Department of Construction, the total funding required for road infrastructure maintenance in 2027 is approximately 421 billion VND. However, the Ministry of Construction has projected an allocation of only about 243.574 billion VND, leaving a deficit of 177 billion VND.

Local authorities emphasized that securing these funds is essential to proactively address road damage and ensure traffic safety, particularly as the province frequently faces extreme weather, including storms and floods. In 2025, several storms caused significant damage to transportation works, increasing the need for repairs. The province's road network spans approximately 14,335 km, including national highways, provincial roads, and urban streets.
