Ha Tinh, Vietnam: Motorbike crash kills mother, injures teenage daughter
On 29 July, a mother (45) and her 18‑year‑old daughter were traveling by motorbike on a mountain road near Long Đàm temple in Ha Tinh province. The vehicle slipped off the roadside and fell about 20 metres down the slope. The mother, identified as H. T. H., died at the scene, while the daughter, T. L., sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Local police have sealed the area, conducted a forensic examination and opened an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Both victims were originally from the Ha Tinh area but were residing in Da Nang at the time of the crash. Authorities are gathering statements from witnesses and reviewing the road conditions.
