Ha Tinh voters propose official salary increases and infrastructure improvements

During a meeting with voters in Ha Tinh province ahead of the 16th National Assembly's second session, local representatives and citizens discussed several regional concerns and upcoming legislative agendas.

Citizens proposed increasing salaries and allowances for commune and village-level officials to better match their responsibilities. Other key requests included investing in riverbank reinforcement along the Ngan Sau River to prevent erosion, constructing bridges to prevent community isolation during floods, and developing sustainable forestry policies.

The meeting also addressed administrative issues, such as the need for clearer procedures regarding land use certificate re-issuances following land surveys.
