Haas F1 Team introduces major upgrades for Italian Grand Prix

Haas F1 Team is introducing an extensive upgrade package for the VF-26 at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza. The move is intended to reverse a mid-season slump and close the gap to midfield competitors.

Following a difficult period that included a double retirement at Zandvoort, Team Principal Ayao Komatsu emphasized the importance of maximizing practice sessions to evaluate the new aerodynamic components. The team aims to regain the momentum seen during the early stages of the season, where they secured 19 points to hold seventh place in the Constructors’ Championship.

Driver Esteban Ocon expressed confidence in the updates, stating they are focused on bringing the team closer to its rivals. The team faces pressure to deliver immediate performance gains to defend its position against advancing competitors like Audi.
