Haas F1 Team principal discusses Ocon and 2027 seat competition

Haas F1 Team principal Ayao Komatsu has highlighted Esteban Ocon’s performance during the latter half of the 2026 season, noting that the driver has successfully maximized the potential of the VF-26 car.

Following the Dutch Grand Prix, the team conducted Testing of Previous Cars (TPC). Komatsu indicated that competition for a Haas seat in 2027 is currently underway as the team evaluates talent and manages the transition into future seasons.
