Hachette Book Group partners with Flame Tree Publishing

Hachette Book Group (HBG) has announced a new sales and distribution partnership with London-based Flame Tree Publishing. Effective January 1, 2027, HBG will manage sales for Flame Tree throughout the United States and oversee distribution across North America, excluding Mexico and Central America.

Flame Tree, founded in 1992, specializes in art-led publishing, including books, gifts, calendars, luxury stationery, and genre-driven content such as mythology and folklore. This new arrangement extends a previous relationship between the two companies, which began in 2023 through Hachette UK Distribution.

Flame Tree founder Nick Wells noted the importance of protecting human-centric values in imaginative expression, while HBG CEO David Shelley expressed optimism regarding the potential for Flame Tree’s products in the U.S. market.
