Hachimitsu Jiro project receives support from fellow comedians

Comedians from the friendship group ‘Jiro-kai’ have released supportive messages for the ‘Things Hachimitsu Jiro Wants to Do Before He Dies’ project. The group includes Mikio Date of Sandwichman, Sekita of Time Machine 3-go, Kinsho Tei Mando, Desuyo, and Sawayaka Goro of Jojo Gundan.

Members expressed high expectations for the project, with Mikio Date noting his admiration for Jiro’s sense of humor and predicting the initiative could gain significant attention. Sekita also shared personal sentiments regarding Jiro’s influence on his career.

The project aims to realize the comedian's personal goals alongside colleagues, staff, and fans. A crowdfunding campaign is currently underway on FANY Action; as of October 9, it has raised 2.46 million yen, approximately 46% of its 5 million yen goal. While the core program will proceed regardless of the total, additional funds will allow for larger-scale productions and more diverse activities.
