Hachioji musicians to hold fifth classical music concert in 2026

Saxophonist Hiroko Yamakawa and pianist Kotaro Nagano will perform a classical music concert in Hachioji, Tokyo, in October 2026. This marks the fifth year of the event, organized by Asterism.

Both musicians are graduates of Yuki Junior High School in Hachioji and are performing to express gratitude to their hometown. The program features works by Elgar, Liszt, Bizet, and Joe Hisaishi, including a medley from ‘Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind’.

The concert consists of two performances: October 3 at the Minami-Osawa Cultural Center Exchange Hall, and October 4 at the Gakuen Toshi Center Event Hall. Tickets are priced at 2,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for students, with special discounts available through Confetti.
