Hacienda de Chiapa to host coffee tasting event for Cuauhtémoc producers

The Sembrando Vida program is hosting the “Noches de Café” event at the Hacienda de Chiapa this Friday, August 28. The initiative aims to promote local consumption and highlight the work of coffee growers from the Cuauhtémoc municipality.

Rosario Silva Verduzco, the delegate for Welfare Programs in Colima, reported that the Sembrando Vida program has 280 beneficiaries in Cuauhtémoc, with 50 managing approximately 45 hectares of high-quality coffee plantations. The program provides technical assistance covering everything from planting to branding and commercialization.

The event will feature coffee tastings, brand presentations, and sales, alongside food, desserts, and live music. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own thermos or cup to enjoy the local produce.
