HackaTruck MakerSpace launches technology training in Santa Maria

The HackaTruck MakerSpace project is launching a technological training initiative in Santa Maria, hosted by the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). The program is open to students from UFSM, the Industrial Technical College of Santa Maria (Ctism), the Polytechnic College, and Senac.

The training consists of two phases. The first phase is a distance learning course focusing on algorithms and object-oriented programming with Swift, running from August 17 to September 27. The second phase offers limited in-person spots for top performers from the online course. This practical phase will take place in a mobile technological truck at the UFSM Planetarium Square from October 13 to November 13, covering topics such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, Swift, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
