Hacker Attack Overruns YouTube and Apple Music Artist Pages

An unauthorized upload spree hit the official YouTube and Apple Music channels of dozens of high‑profile artists over the weekend, according to Adnkronos. Accounts belonging to artists such as Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Playboi Carti, Ye, Frank Ocean, Michael Jackson, Travis Scott, Future, Juice WRLD, The Weeknd, Quadeca and Ken Carson were populated with unreleased tracks, fake releases, old leaks and promotional posts directing users to Discord or Instagram servers.

Playboi Carti’s channel was among the most affected, showing an entire unissued album and more than twenty previously leaked tracks. Drake’s official YouTube channel displayed Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us” alongside other unpublished material. Similar promotional uploads appeared on the pages of Frank Ocean and Michael Jackson. Initial reports suggested a coordinated hack, but later speculation pointed to vulnerabilities in music‑distribution services rather than direct account breaches.
