HackTown festival explores AI and urban mobility in Minas Gerais

The 10th edition of HackTown, a major Brazilian innovation and technology festival, is taking place in Santa Rita do Sapucaí, Minas Gerais, from September 3 to 7. The event is expected to draw 15,000 participants, including representatives from 500 companies and 100 startups, alongside executives from global firms such as Nvidia, Google, Meta, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, and IBM.

A central theme of the festival is Artificial Intelligence (AI), focusing on governance, ethics, the future of work, and practical business applications. As part of the “Hacking Cities” track, Framework Digital and Localiza&Co are hosting a strategic panel titled “Hacking Mobility.” The discussion explores how AI, data, and autonomous agents are evolving from simple optimization tools into core components of urban infrastructure and city redesign.
