Hacobu launches Berth Mobile for smartphone-based dock management

Hacobu has launched ‘Berth Mobile’, a smartphone-based web application for its truck reservation service, MOVO Berth. The tool is designed to allow logistics center, warehouse, and factory staff to manage loading docks (berths) directly from their mobile devices without needing to return to shared PCs or tablets.

Key features include a vertical timeline for tracking daily reservations and progress, a mobile-optimized interface for one-handed operation, and the ability to contact drivers with a single tap. As a web application, it requires no installation, allowing staff to use existing company smartphones.

The service aims to address the critical issue of truck waiting times and driver shortages by improving productivity through better dock management. Hacobu intends to integrate accumulated logistics data with AI to advance its ‘AI-Driven Logistics’ initiative, supporting real-time decision-making on the warehouse floor.
