Hadassah Medical Center opens new facility in Limassol, Cyprus

Jerusalem-based Hadassah Medical Center has officially inaugurated a new medical facility in Limassol, Cyprus. The center, which has been treating patients for several weeks, provides specialized services including cardiology, neurology, MRI, CT scans, laboratory testing, and rehabilitation. It operates as a medical center rather than a full inpatient hospital, utilizing a combination of local staff and professional support from Hadassah specialists in Jerusalem.

In addition to the Limassol opening, Hadassah announced plans to develop a hospital near Nicosia. This future facility is intended to provide inpatient treatment and support medical research and professional training.

The inauguration was preceded by an international medical conference in Limassol focused on the role of artificial intelligence, precision medicine, and advancements in patient care. Israeli President Isaac Herzog sent a message of support, stating that the opening symbolizes a bridge between peoples and highlights the expanding relationship between Israel and Cyprus.
