Hadestown announces additional UK and Ireland tour dates for 2027

Producers of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical Hadestown have announced additional venues for its first-ever UK and Ireland tour in 2027. The production will visit the Cliffs Pavilion in Southend, Royal & Derngate Theatre in Northampton, New Victoria Theatre in Woking, New Theatre Oxford, and New Wimbledon Theatre.

The Oxford engagement is scheduled for 19 to 23 October 2027. Other newly added dates include Southend from 25 to 29 May, Northampton from 28 September to 2 October, Woking from 12 to 16 October, and Wimbledon from 16 to 20 November 2027.

Created by Anaïs Mitchell and directed by Rachel Chavkin, the musical retells the mythic love stories of Orpheus and Eurydice alongside Hades and Persephone using a blend of indie folk, pop, blues, and New Orleans-inspired jazz. The tour is set to begin at Curve Leicester on 19 February 2027, following a successful run in London’s West End.
