Haedo school receives threat involving bullet and note
Authorities in Haedo, Argentina, are investigating a threat directed at the Instituto Parroquial Cristo Obrero. On Friday morning, cleaning staff discovered an envelope slid under the school's entrance gate.
Inside the envelope was a 9mm caliber bullet and an intimidating note written in green marker. The message demanded the immediate cancellation of upcoming graduation trips scheduled for next week, warning that failure to comply would result in “consequences.”
The Unidad Fiscal de Instrucción N.º 7 of the Morón Judicial Department has opened an investigation under the charge of “public intimidation.” Investigators are currently reviewing security camera footage from the surrounding area to identify the individual responsible for leaving the package.
While the school has faced previous threats via telephone, the inclusion of live ammunition has increased concern among students, faculty, and families. As a precaution, the institution has suspended extracurricular activities and increased security measures around the premises.
