Häagen-Dazs Japan to launch seasonal rich rum raisin flavor

Häagen-Dazs Japan has announced the release of a seasonal winter version of its rum raisin flavor, titled ‘Houjun Rum Raisin’ (Rich Rum Raisin). The product is scheduled for release on October 6 at supermarkets and convenience stores across Japan.

This limited-edition mini cup features a higher alcohol content than the standard year-round rum raisin flavor. While the regular version contains 0.7% alcohol, the ‘Houjun Rum Raisin’ will contain 1.0% alcohol, intended to provide a deeper, more aromatic flavor profile. The product will be sold in 110ml cups for 373 yen (tax included).
