Hagen retail decline marked by Tchibo and Orion closures

The city of Hagen is experiencing a decline in retail presence in its city center, marked by the recent departure of several established businesses. The erotic goods retailer Orion has closed its location at Frankfurter Straße 76, citing economic reasons for the move. Representatives from Orion stated that negotiations with the landlord were constructive and that the decision was not due to issues with the property management.

This follows the closure of a Tchibo branch in the Rathaus-Galerie, which had been a staple in the city center for eleven years. A spokesperson for Tchibo noted that the location was no longer economically viable due to a lack of foot traffic in the shopping center.
