Hai Long Yuan Restaurant launches oyster soy sauce in Chiayi

Hai Long Yuan Restaurant, a long-standing establishment in Dongshi, has launched a new oyster soy sauce to expand its business into the bottled sauce and souvenir market. The product combines local Dongshi oysters with traditional brewed soy sauce.

To mark the launch, the restaurant hosted a tasting event that integrated the new sauce with products from various youth entrepreneurship teams in Chiayi. This initiative aims to create a collaborative model for local industries and cross-sector cooperation.

Supported by the Chiayi County Government’s Youth Entrepreneurship Incentive Program, second-generation successor Ye Guan-lin noted that the project helped overcome challenges related to funding and generational communication. Chen Yi-han, Director of the Chiayi County Labor and Youth Development Department, stated that the government will continue to support youth entrepreneurship to drive local industrial transformation and revitalization.
