Hai Phong launches socialist school model pilot program

Hai Phong has launched a pilot “socialist school model” program for the 2026–2030 period. The initiative will be implemented across nine schools, starting with the first branch of Nui Doi Primary School in Kien Thuy.

The program aims to create a healthy, democratic, and disciplined educational environment focused on moral education, life skills, and comprehensive student development. Students in this model will gain access to STEM subjects, artificial intelligence (AI), and various experiential learning activities to foster creativity and responsibility.

To support this initiative, Hai Phong plans to invest over 251.6 billion VND in the nine pilot schools. For example, Tan Binh Primary School is receiving 42 billion VND to upgrade facilities, including specialized rooms, a multi-purpose hall, and smart classrooms. Looking toward 2030, the city expects to invest more than 9,181 billion VND in educational infrastructure and approximately 171.9 billion VND in staff training and development.
