Hai Phong police investigate BIGBANG ticket fraud using AI

Police in Hai Phong, Vietnam, are investigating a young man for using artificial intelligence to forge concert tickets. Đào Trọng Nghĩa, born in 2007, allegedly used AI tools to edit images of ticket codes from social media groups to create fake listings for BIGBANG concert tickets.

The scam targeted fans interested in the BIGBANG performances scheduled for October 2026 at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi. Nghĩa advertised various ticket tiers on Zalo, including CAT 3-1, CAT 5-2, and ULTIMATE options.

Authorities report that Nghĩa has defrauded at least seven victims, collecting over 40 million VND in deposits, which he reportedly used for personal expenses. The Dong Hai Ward Police have summoned the suspect for questioning.
