Hai Phong promotes cultural identity through classical music initiatives

Hai Phong is advancing its goal to become a “Music City” through new cultural initiatives. A recent concert titled “Realms of Sound” was held at the Hoa Phuong Theater, marking the beginning of a collaboration between the Vietnam Classical Music Association and the Hai Phong People's Committee.

The initiative aligns with city resolutions to develop local culture and follows national directives to encourage musical education among students. Dr. Nguyen Van Than, Chairman of the Vietnam Classical Music Association, emphasized that classical music serves as a vital cultural heritage that nurtures aesthetic values and creative human resources. The partnership aims to further develop music education and teacher capacity within the region.
