Haiku film receives U/A certificate ahead of October 23 release

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted a U/A certificate to the upcoming romantic film ‘Haiku’, directed by Yuvaraj Chinnasamy. The film stars Aegan, Sridevi, and Femina George and is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 23rd.

Producer Dr D Arulanandhu reported that the project, made with an investment of approximately Rs 11 crore, has already recovered about 80 per cent of its costs prior to its theatrical debut. This recovery is attributed to the sale of various rights, including OTT rights which accounted for 60 per cent of the investment. Netflix has secured the digital streaming rights for the film.
