Haiku film recovers 80 percent of investment before release

The upcoming romantic comedy film ‘Haiku’, directed by Yuvaraj Chinnasamy, has reportedly recovered approximately 80 percent of its 11 crore rupee investment prior to its theatrical release. Producer Dr. D. Arulanandhu noted that the film’s rights have been sold extensively, with OTT rights alone accounting for 60 percent of the recovery. Netflix previously secured the digital streaming rights before filming was even completed.

The film stars Aegan, Sridevi Apalla, and Femina George. The plot follows a young man named Mano who finds himself as the only male student at a women’s college, a premise intended to blend humor with emotional themes. The trailer for the film has been released, and ‘Haiku’ is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 23.
