Haina school faces complaint over mandatory haircut for toddler

A father in Haina, Igor José Maldonado, has denounced the Centro Educativo CEILE for requiring his three-year-old son to have his hair cut as a condition for continued school attendance.

Maldonado stated that the child is in his second year at the institution and was warned he could not attend classes unless he complied with the haircut requirement. The father described the measure as arbitrary and expressed feelings of helplessness, noting that he does not recall signing any regulations regarding specific hairstyles during the initial enrollment process.

The parent argued that the decision affects the child's rights and questioned why such a condition was imposed during the student's second year of schooling.
