Hair coloring trends shift toward natural French highlights and honey latte blond

New hair coloring trends are emerging for the autumn season, focusing on natural-looking transitions and warm tones. One prominent technique is ‘French highlights’, popularized by American hair colorist Travis Ogletree. Inspired by the effortless beauty seen during Paris Fashion Week, this method aims for a nearly invisible effect, using very fine highlights to mimic the natural lightening caused by sun exposure rather than creating high-contrast changes.

Another significant trend is ‘honey latte blond’. This style moves away from dark espresso brunettes toward a dimensional, neutral-warm blonde. It combines creamy beige undertones with honey and caramel reflections. To achieve a seamless look, stylists use highlights to create light areas, a base tone for contrast, and midlights to blend the colors together, preventing harsh lines and adding depth to the hair.
