Hairdressing experts are highlighting upcoming trends in hair coloring and texture. In Madrid, a new coloring technique is gaining popularity among socialites, characterized by subtle, nearly invisible highlights that provide illumination without a harsh contrast. Experts Carlos Ortigosa and Manuel Ferreres note that this method is ideal for brunettes seeking dimension while maintaining a dark base, particularly for medium to dark brown hair.

Regarding texture, curly hair specialist Conchi Arias predicts that by 2027, hair trends will move away from adapting straight-hair cuts for curls. Instead, the focus will shift toward cuts specifically designed for natural textures, accounting for shrinkage, volume, and density. Arias identifies three primary trending silhouettes for curly hair: short, midi, and long styles designed to celebrate natural movement.
