Celtic FC signs Egyptian winger Haissem Hassan

Celtic FC has officially confirmed the signing of Egyptian winger Haissem Hassan on a four-year contract. The 24-year-old attacker joins the Scottish champions from the Spanish side Real Oviedo.

The transfer fee is reported to be approximately €6 million. As part of the agreement, Villarreal CF is set to receive a 40% sell-on clause, amounting to roughly €2.4 million. Hassan, who has previously played in France and Spain, gained international recognition following his performances with the Egyptian national team.

Celtic manager Martin O’Neill expressed satisfaction with the acquisition, noting Hassan’s ability to perform at high levels in both domestic and international football. Hassan described the move as a ‘real honour’ and expressed his eagerness to contribute to the club’s success.
