Haiti police detain TikTok influencer and murder suspect in separate arrests

The Haitian National Police arrested 22‑year‑old Laury Lacombe, known on social media as “Ti kreyòl dyab,” during a criminal‑affairs operation in Delmas 75. Police say she is suspected of collaborating with gang leader Ralph Woondry Louissaint, alias “Chalè,” who commands an armed group active in the Tokyo and Rue Saint‑Martin districts. Lacombe remains in detention while the investigation continues.

In a separate incident, 36‑year‑old Justin Duffault was seized by residents of Lamontay, Jacmel, after being accused of killing his 33‑year‑old wife, Marie Pascale Antoine Duffault, whose body was found on 27 July with multiple knife wounds. Duffault told police the murder stemmed from a family conflict. He has been handed over to authorities and placed at the disposal of the justice system.
