Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan star in Haiwaan teaser

The teaser for the upcoming psychological thriller ‘Haiwaan’, directed by Priyadarshan, has been released. The film features a major collaboration between cinematic icons Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, marking their first reunion since ‘Tashan’.

In a departure from his usual roles, Akshay Kumar portrays a purely evil antagonist, a character he described as a personal challenge to play a ‘psycho’ on screen. Saif Ali Khan plays a visually impaired martial artist who serves as a protector. The film is reportedly a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Oppam’.

The cast also includes Boman Irani, Saiyami Kher, and Shriya Pilgaonkar. Produced by KVN Productions and Thespian Films, ‘Haiwaan’ is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 11, 2026, with a planned digital release on SonyLIV approximately 45 to 60 days later.
