Hajdú-Bihar firefighters battle multiple fires and emergencies

Emergency services in Hajdú-Bihar County responded to numerous incidents, including a significant outdoor fire between Hortobágy and Egyek. Over 40 firefighters were deployed to combat the blaze, which was difficult to extinguish due to wind conditions and was not fully contained until Thursday morning.

Other notable incidents in the region included a wheat field fire in Földes that destroyed one and a half hectares and twenty hay bales, and a two-hectare fire involving vegetation and waste in Tiszavasvári. Additional responses involved electrical fires in a Debrecen basement, a house fire in Balmazújváros, and various incidents involving fallen trees blocking roads.
