Hajduk defeats Shkendija 2-0 in preseason friendly, Garcia lauds new players

Croatian club Hajduk Split traveled to a training base in Slovenia and played its first preseason match against Macedonian side Shkendija. The game ended 2-0 in Hajduk's favour, with early goals from Livaja in the third minute and Pukštas in the 28th.

Coach Gonzalo Garcia praised the win, saying it helped build a winning mentality and highlighted the energy of the new players. He noted the physical presence and one‑on‑one strength of the debutant Brruti, describing it as a quality the team had been lacking. Garcia also mentioned areas for improvement, particularly the defensive line, and indicated that further adjustments would be made as the preparation continues.
