Hajduk denies false claim of USKOK investigation at Poljud stadium

The football club Hajduk Split issued a statement on its official X account after its 2‑0 victory over Žilina, rejecting allegations published by the tabloid 7 Dnevno. The newspaper’s cover story claimed that the Croatian anti‑corruption office USKOK had entered Hajduk’s Poljud stadium and was conducting an investigation.

Hajduk said the reports were entirely fabricated, stating that no state body, including USKOK, carried out any inquiry or official action at the club. The club urged the media to report responsibly and reserved the right to protect its reputation through legal means.

The club’s response quoted the headline “USKOK ušao u Hajduk” as false and emphasized that all claims were invented and untrue.
