Hajduk signs young striker and hikes season ticket prices by up to €90

Croatian club Hajduk Split announced the signing of 19‑year‑old forward Anđelo Šutalo on a contract lasting until 2029. The club highlighted Šutalo’s recent performances for Croatia’s U‑19 side and presented him as a key element of a new, youth‑focused strategy after the departure of veteran Ante Rebić.

In a separate move, Hajduk increased the cost of its season‑ticket subscriptions for the upcoming campaign. Prices rose by about 30 %, with the north and south stands seeing a €45 increase and the west stand a €90 jump. All categories, including Premium and VIP packages, were affected. Fans expressed anger, comparing the new fees to the cost of attending matches at elite European venues such as Camp Nou.

Both developments were detailed in club communications released in early July, ahead of the team’s first European fixture on 9 July.
