Hajduk Split director buys Bamba's jersey for 3,580 euros

Hajduk Split sports director Robert Graf purchased a signed jersey worn by Abdoulie Sanyanga Bamba for 3,580 euros during a club auction. The white jersey was worn by the Gambian player when he scored a goal against Ajax in a 2-1 Conference League victory.

Graf purchased the item specifically to allow Bamba to fulfill a personal wish to gift the jersey to his brother. The auction, which saw 62 bids, began with a starting price of 140 euros. Following the club's rules, 15 percent of the proceeds, totaling 537 euros, will be donated to the humanitarian organization ‘Bilo srce’.

This is not the first time Graf has participated in these auctions; in July, he spent 1,120 euros on a jersey featuring a printing error. The story gained attention on social media after Bamba’s brother posted an emotional message on Instagram expressing pride in his brother’s success.
