Hajduk Split overhauls scouting, data and youth development under sports director Robert Graf

Robert Graf, the newly appointed sports director of Hajduk Split, outlined three major organisational changes for the club. The scouting and data departments have been merged to create a unified unit that profiles target players and supports financially constrained recruitment. A new Individual Development Department has been set up within the academy to work with 16‑20 of the most talented youngsters, focusing on technical, tactical and physical growth to accelerate their transition to the first team. A dedicated loan‑player liaison role has also been introduced to monitor and manage players on loan or with dual registration.

Graf said the club will pursue a younger, cheaper squad while reducing first‑team wages and budget. Marko Livaj remains under contract until 2027, and Ante Rebić has left the club after one season. Preparations for the new season begin on Monday, with intensive training sessions and a series of friendly matches in Slovenia scheduled for late June and early July.

The restructuring aims to improve player development, streamline recruitment and build a sustainable competitive side for upcoming domestic and European campaigns.
