Filip Krovinović joins Grêmio after terminating contract with Hajduk
Filip Krovinović ended his five‑year spell at HNK Hajduk Split by mutual agreement. During his time at the club he made 192 official appearances, scoring 21 goals and providing 14 assists, and helped Hajduk win two Croatian Cup titles. The termination also saved Hajduk roughly €1.7 million in wages.
Krovinović signed a contract with Brazilian side Grêmio that runs until the end of 2028, reuniting with former coach Luis Castro, who previously worked with him at Rio Ave. Grêmio announced the signing on 27 July 2026; the club expects to pay him a salary of about R$ 400 000. With his arrival the team now has 12 foreign players representing eight nationalities, although only nine can be listed for each Brasileirão match.
